Mormons and the Freemason Connection

This all seeing eye is on the wall above the speaker's platform in the tabernacle in St. George, Utah.
With Joseph Smith being a mason there is found much masonic symbolism on early Mormon buildings.  The Salt Lake temple has the eye and the hand shake carved on the exterior for all the world to see.
The beehive was borrowed from Freemasonry and is found in Mormon buildings and is a Utah state symbol.  Mormons claim Deseret is another word for beehive and wanted their kingdom to be called by that name but the U.S. government named it Utah after the Ute Indians.
Notice the beehive on this Masonic apron
A beehive shaped pile of stones was erected over the bones of those murdered by Mormons at the Mountain Meadows massacre 9/11 1857.  Originally the U.S. soldiers placed a cross here but in months leading up to the winter Olympics in 2002 in Utah this new monument was built for the sake of public relations.
